THE BEST OF THE BLOGS

WELCOME MATIES TO MY BLOG AND FEEL FREE TO READ MY BLOGS

A problem i encountered and how i solved it

As i did not have any inspiration for this particular theme, i did what i always do when i lacked inspiration, i went to catch a movie with some friends. On the way to a cinema after school, as i was crossing the road to the shopping mall, i did not notice the curb at the end of the road and thus i had hit my big toe against the curb. I guessed i must have caused a huge jam as while everyone was busy crossing the road, i had abruptly stopped and caused many people to bump into each other. I never imagined that my big toe could have hurt so much as i hobbled to the nearest place where i could sit down and examine the damage that i had caused to my big toe.
I realised that my entire big toe was BIG and purple in colour. Well, at least that had solved one problem, because i finally had the inspiration to write for this particular theme about a problem that i had encountered. However, there was a new problem that had risen as i realised that with my injured toe, i would not be able to run properly and that this may affect my performance in my cca(CRICKET), which involved a lot of running on my part.
So, after lots of brainstorming at the same spot where i had been sitting for the past 15 minutes massaging my big toe, i figured out that the best and only solution to the current problem was to see a doctor and see what could be done for my toe. I really wanted to play for the school team and was defintely determined not to be stopped by a swollen and injured toe.

After seeing a doctor , although i had to skip training due to my recovery process, i feel that i was really fresh and energised after that long week of mugging in the classroom and being able to run freely in the field.  SO, the visit to the cinema was once again the solution to my problem although  i had not been able to watch it. :(

Something unusual that happened that day

Well,it was just another boring day at school which was like a prison where i went there 5 times a week. Firstly, i had a very annoying and somewhat hot-tempered partner who sits beside me and sometimes, i get whacked on the back for no particular reason. Secondly, i had to sit at one of the back seats where it was quite hot because there were no windows and there were no fans. Thirdly, it was SCHOOL so it was obviously worth dreading. However, the was none of the first that day, i could not hear any screaming or shouting sounds as i walked into the classroom, i scanned the classroom and found something very unusual. My annoying partner who was always more punctual than me was absent.
I could not believe my luck! He was not present! When i asked some of my classmates about what had happened to him, they all replied that he was down with fever and would not be coming for a week. I shouted happily and skipped around and around as i realised that there would not be any irritation today. I thought that this must have been a present from heaven that i would finally be able to concentrate during class lessons and not be bothered by his pranks.
After my excitement had finally settled down, i realised that my partner must have been quite sick after all to have to stay home for an entire week. So, me and my friends gathered together to make a crown for our "king" as he always liked to dominate over us with his big size. On the paper crown, we wrote well wishes for him to get well soon and i had wanted to personally bring it to his homr to cheer him up. Who knew that he could recover so quickly thar he returned the following day. On returning to school,he had seen the paper crown but had thought that it had been a prank and so had shouted at me for making fun of him. Guess what! I got whacked in the back for my good intention.
Anyway, he has since found out about the whole story and apologised ti ne, Lesson learned: STAY AWAY FROM WEN ZHE!

Something that took place in school( The CHIA edition)

It was recess right after our tiring period of P.E, and feeling really thirsty and tired, i decided to head to the canteen for a drink and a quick bite. Who knew that this recess was going to be feeled with so much action! As i bought my drink and settled down at a table with some of my friends to talk with each other, two of my classmates, Christopher and Yan Cheng, came walking to our table to join in on our conversation and relax after a tiring lesson of P.E..
Suddenly, Yan Cheng started quarreling with Christopher and although i ould not hear what both of them were arguing about, i could definitely tell that both of them were not happy with each other. Then, Yan Cheng grabbed Christopher's wallet, demanding that he returned him his one-dollar coin. Both of them started snatching his wallet until they both got off their seats and wrestled with each other over the wallet.(What violent people!) As i was feeling bored and tired after the P.E session, i just watched the two of the fight and used them as my entertainment to satisfy my boredom.
Out of nowhere, there came a shout of "Hey boys!Stop fighting! Do you two want to see me at 5 o'clock?!!" I jolted up in suprise as i realised that Mr.Chia was actually right behind me. I started worrying that i might get scolded for not taking any action to stop the two of them from fighting when Mr. Chia just shouted at the two of them and asked them why they had been fighting. I breathed a sigh of relief that Mr. Chia was not going to scold me. I quickly slipped away from the scene and headed back to class, only to find the two of them appear a few seconds after i had entered.
After finding out from the two of them, i finally realised that all that fighting had been caused by a third party who had been asked by the two of them to buy drinks . Yan Cheng and Christopher had passed the money for the drinks to the third party but he had only bought 1 drink with the 2 dollar note he had been given, and he had also kept the change, thus causing Yan Cheng to demand for his one dollar back.  After this incident, i feel that i should have intervened on the fight between the two of them instead of just sitting there watching them fight. Thus, this was indeed something violent that took place in school! (PS.SINCE I COULD NOT CAPTURE THE FIGHT BETWEEN YAN CHENG AND CHRISTOPHER, I SHALL POST PHOTOS OF FIGHTING CHILDREN)

THIS IS A EXAMPLE OF A FIGHT SCENE TOO.

A moment spent alone doing something i enjoyed (The non-pervertic edition)

It was a normal day after tuition when my parents decided to take me and my brothers out to the shopping mall but i had decided to stay behind at home as i was tired after the long session of tuition. As i was feeling bored after watching some television show, i decided to turn on my computer: The SOLUTION to my boredom. Not feeling sure of what to actually do, i turned on my iTunes and listened to some of my favourite songs(The song below is just one of my favourites that i cant get out my head!). After that, i logged in into the social network: Facebook, to just relax and talk to my friends and communicate with them, we talked about school and other stuff. It was awesome to just relax after a long week at school and i totally enjoyed it!  I even tried out some applications on Facebook just to kill my boredom. I guessed that i was hooked on to this game called Mousehunt. It was a game that i had recently been introduced to and i LOVED the plot of the game and its graphics. But too bad, the game could not continue forever as it only allowed you to click the button to catch mice every 15 minutes. It was a little tiring at first as i WATCHED the time slowly dwindle and i could finally sound the button after a good 15 minutes. So, i had to plan my time out to fit the 15 minutes  interval of the game. I went to YouTube to watch videos of stand-up comedians and it was absolutely thrilling(although a little rascist) ! Although i was only able to play Mousehunt for another one and a half hours before my parents came back from shopping, i felt that the time spent was quite meanigful as it helped to de-stress after a stressful week at school and i wish i could have played longer if not for my parents' strict rule of only being able to play for one and a half hours each weekend.! It was certainly a wonderful time spent alone doing something that i had enjoyed apart from the fact that i may be a little addicted to that fun game.

THE SPECIAL DAY IN HONGKONG( A special moment spent with my family)

It was during the december holidays of 2010 that my family and i traveled to Hongkong, where we stayed for a week. It was just another day when we were out shopping for things when my mother suggested going to a street there which sold many different clothes and shoes. We all agreed readily as we were all looking forward to buying new clothes and gadgets. For me, i wanted to purchase this cool new shoe that i saw on internet that day(the video about the shoe is on a separate post. there is a link at the bottom to the video.). We should have known better! Most of the time that we spent in the street was to carry bags of clothing for our mother as the street mostly sold women's clothing. Me, together with my brothers and my father were all dead tired after walking from mall to mall, each visit increasing the amount of weight load that our arms were carrying. Thus, we decided to take a break after a few hours and rest at a nearby coffee shop. What a good rest we had! As we rested in the coffee shop eating some desserts, we also joked and talked about how fun the trip had been to Hongkong and the activities that we were going to plan. All in all, it was a wonderful time spent with my family as we bonded together by resting and talking after a few tiresome hours of shopping! After that, we had even more family bonding time as we went to catch a few movies at the cinema. Through that one day, we had all bonded as a family and had learnt each others strengths and weaknesses(especially our mothers strength: Shopping!). In a nutshell, we had truly enjoyed each others company during the trip and it was really a special moment spent with my family.
